Refund policy

Cancellation

Orders placed on the website cannot be cancelled, except for EU Customers, However if you wish to cancel the order please write to us on info@indianleathercraft.com, and we will review, if the reason is valid or good enough to be considered. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund but a Store credit of the same value will be sent via email which is redeemable at our website.

Custom made orders made as per the clients design in the leather selected by the client, if cancelled, are non refundable.

EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period").

To exercise this right, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your item by contacting us at info@indianleathercraft.com. Once we receive your withdrawal notice, you have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

Conditions for return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping
  • We will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item

Exceptions — the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or personalised leather goods (including straps made to your specified length, size, colour, or engraving)
  • Products which are made to order.
  • Items that have been used or show signs of wear

Returns

  • As majority of our products are made to order, we only accept returns if the product is defective and we do not make defective products.
  • Bespoke leather goods made as per the clients specification do not qualify for a return/exchange/refund.


Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

A valid reason must be mentioned in order to initiate a return. Please remember it takes a great deal of time and efforts into making these products using only hands and tools.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Variation in the color due to camera lightning (light/dark) does not qualifies as a valid reason for Return or Refund.

The products uploaded on the website are the images of the final product taken by me and are handmade by me. Certain products (color) my appear a little different due to camera lightning or your device resolution or due to concentration of grain on the hide in which the product is made.I do not indulge in unethical practice of advertising and selling something else.


Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products, custom made leather goods & personalised products.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. 


Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Indian leather craft, shop G14,link square mall, Bandra linking road , oppo kfc , 400050 Mumbai MH, India

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
